British Precast Publishes Sustainable Water Policy

British Precast, with the assistance of our Sustainability and Environmental Committee (SEC) has drafted a Water Policy which sets out a framework for more of our members to implement water management policies of their own. The policy focusses on Monitoring, Minimising and Prioritising the use of different water sources and protection of the environment through good water stewardship.

British Precast welcomes UK Concrete’s ‘Beyond Net Zero carbon’ framework announcement

British Precast welcomes the UK concrete industry’s decision to develop and adopt a new carbon roadmap to deliver a ‘net negative’ industry by 2050. The announcement means the concrete industry is not only committing to meet the UK target of ‘Net Zero’ by 2050 but is also committing to removing more carbon from the atmosphere than the industry emits each year.

Aircrete Products Association: COVID-19 Industry Position

MPA Launches UK Concrete

The Mineral Products Association (MPA) has launched UK Concrete, a new public and political advocacy vehicle for the UK’s concrete industry.

British Precast is the trade association for precast concrete manufacturers and members of the supply chain. The main aims of the federation are to promote precast concrete in the construction market and to disseminate information, through a range of industry representation and by shared knowledge, to add value to its member companies. With a growing membership of over 60 precast concrete manufacturer members, and more than 100 supply chain organisations, members' interests are continually developed through our team of dedicated professionals who have extensive connections with organisations in the UK and worldwide.
