New MPA Resources to Support Managers and Employees to Recognise and Manage Mental Health and Wellbeing Issues

With World Mental Health Day on 10th October, it is more timely than ever to acknowledge that mental health and wellbeing issues can be experienced by individuals at all levels within an organisation as a result of personal and work related issues. The impact of COVID-19 combined with uncertainty about the future, has led to more individuals experiencing high levels of anxiety and the potential for mental health issues to develop. MPA and its members are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all employees. It has partnered with Mates in Mind to help raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues within the industry. Whilst excellent progress has been made and many member companies now have mental health policies in place, MPA has received requests from several members about what support is available in this area. The guides have been developed to address this requirement.
